Just wondering what you'd put in the 'Cittadinanza' box ... Are we still EU citizens?

Hi there, British nationals are not considered anymore EU citizens since the ratification of the withdrawal agreement back in January. UK is now in the transition period but de facto out of the Union. This is my understanding from here in Britain.

Hi thanks for your reply. As I understand it (from Italy) we are still allowed EU rights, except for voting. Obviously we will be 100% out of the EU, and non-EU citizens, from 2021.

I think you are right about civil rights but I am still not sure about the citizenship's entry. If I were you, I would ask the British Council about this, if at all possible. The problem for all of us is the effect from Jan 2021 of the nature of any agreed deal (or no deal) on our civil rights.

I found a statment on governo.it which would imply that from 01.02.2020 until 31.12.2020 we still have the same rights as before.

Yes thanks I'll do that but it's a question of which 'option' to choose, Eu or Paesi terzi. I'm going to choose EU citizen anyway as a matter of pride!
